All cardholders who make purchases of a million yen or more in a one-year period are exempt from annual fees for the next year. (Exemption is automatic; no application is required)
Reward 1
Gold Card holders who make purchases of a million yen or more in a one-year period are exempt from annual fees for the next year. This reward applies only to the cardholder himself/herself. (Starting in July 2010, this exemption from fees, worth 5,250 yen, replaces the previous reward, a 5,000-yen gift card.)
Reward 2
Gold Card holders who make purchases of 1.5 million yen or more in a one-year period receive exemptions from annual fees for the next year for themselves and one family-member cardholder. (This is a new reward available from July 2010)
