Joined NTT in 1986; worked in in-house systems development at Telecom Software Division (now NTT COMWARE). Assigned to Material Procurement Department in 1993; involved in quality control of purchased materials.
Joined NTT FINANCE in 1996; participated in establishment of venture capital business. Participated in US venture capital company CrossBridge Venture Partners training program in 2002; gained experience in Silicon Valley investment.
Graduated from Kobe University Faculty of Engineering Department of Electronics and Electrical Engineering.
