Takashi Tachikawa
Joined NTT FINANCE in 1996. Joined Daikyo Oil (now Cosmo Oil) in 1974; worked in oil-industry restructuring projects at the Planning and Coordination Department. Joined McKinsey and Company in 1979; worked in strategic planning and organization improvement consulting for major corporate clients. After time at ITT Asia Pacific, Inc, joined GE Japan Business Development Department and GE Information Service (GEIS) in 1984; served as GE's Japanese delegate in tie-ups and joint ventures involving GE and major Japanese companies. Appointed director of C&C International, a joint venture between NEC and Information Services International Dentsu, the latter a joint venture between Dentsu and GE. Joined DHL Japan in 1992; worked in business strategy planning. Joined Johnson and Johnson in 1994; involved in corporate venture capital at the Business Development Department. After time at NOVACTION, joined NTT Lease (now NTT FINANCE) in 1996; seconded to Schroder Ventures (now MKS Partners), then recalled to set up the NTT FINANCE venture capital business. Currently working in venture business investment. Also serves as independent director of JBtoB, an NTT FINANCE investee.
1972 Graduated with master's degree from Waseda University of Graduate School of Science and Engineering Department of Applied Physics. Obtained master of science degree in Operation Research from Stanford University, USA.
