NTT FINANCE will use its best efforts to protect your personal information that NTT FINANCE receives for its billing and collections business for the communication service usage fees, etc., in accordance with the following policies and pursuant to the provisions of the Act on the Protection of Personal Information ("APPI").

1. Extent of personal information collection

NTT FINANCE collects your personal information only by legal and fair methods in order to improve your convenience and for NTT FINANCE's business administration purposes.

NTT FINANCE will use its best efforts to ensure that your personal information is accurate, complete and up-to-date.

3. Amendment, etc. of personal information

NTT FINANCE will promptly amend or delete any incorrect personal information upon a request for information disclosure from the pertinent individual.

NTT FINANCE will properly handle your personal information within the scope of the following purposes.

  Information used: the personal information stated in paragraph (2), items (ⅳ), (ⅵ), and (ⅶ)(limited to the "membership information for consolidated billing " and the "billing address pertaining to consolidated billing")
- (ⅲ)Providing, billing, and collecting the "consolidated billing," responding to inquiries, and providing information on the products, services, and campaigns, etc. of NTT FINANCE (including information regarding the services of NTT FINANCE's business partners), etc.
  Information used: the personal information stated in paragraph (2), items (ⅰ) through (ⅴ), (ⅶ), and (ⅷ) (limited to those for which you have given consent)
- (ⅳ)Providing Web Billing, responding to inquiries, and providing information on the products, services, and campaigns, etc. of NTT FINANCE (including information regarding the services of NTT FINANCE's business partners), etc.
  Information used: the personal information stated in paragraph (2), items (ⅰ) through (ⅴ), (ⅶ), and (ⅷ) (limited to those for which you have given consent)

- (ⅱ)Information regarding communication service usage fees, etc. (the amount billed and billing details, etc.)
- (ⅲ)Information necessary for billing and collections for the communication service usage fees, etc. (name and address for the billing address, bank account name and account number, credit card number, etc.)

- (ⅶ)Information that NTT FINANCE has acquired in connection with the provision (including when receiving applications and inquiries) of, and the billing and collection for, the "consolidated billing" (billing address information and inquiry content, etc.)
- (ⅷ)Information that NTT FINANCE has acquired in connection with the provision (including when receiving applications and inquiries) of Web Billing (addresses, names, telephone numbers, email addresses, IDs, etc.)
(3) When NTT FINANCE conducts a business that it has been engaged to perform by another business operator in connection with the billing and collections business for the communication service usage fees, etc., NTT FINANCE will handle your personal information within the scope necessary for the performance of such business.
(4) If NTT FINANCE finds that any of the following items apply, NTT FINANCE may, while paying the utmost consideration to your rights and interests, handle your personal information for purposes other than the aforementioned purposes of use:
- when such use is pursuant to laws and regulations;
- when there is a need to protect a human life, body, or property and it is difficult to obtain your consent;
- when there is a special need to enhance public hygiene or promote the fostering of healthy children and it is difficult to obtain your consent;
- when there is a need to cooperate with a central government organization or a local government, or a person entrusted by either of those to perform the affairs prescribed by laws and regulations and there is a possibility that obtaining your consent would interfere with the performance of such affairs; and
- when the third party is an academic research institution, etc., and the third party needs to handle your personal data for academic research purposes (including cases where part of the purpose of handling your personal data is for academic research purposes, but excluding cases where there is a risk of unjustified infringement on the rights and interests of individuals).
NTT FINANCE may individually prescribe a purpose of use other than the aforementioned purposes of use via a service, questionnaire, or the like.
Further, NTT FINANCE may record your conversation with an NTT FINANCE agent or employee when responding to your telephone calls in order to accurately understand the content your order, opinion, request, or the like and to improve our services in the future.

5. Provision to third parties

NTT FINANCE may provide your personal information that NTT FINANCE has received in connection with its billing and collections business for the communication service usage fees, etc. to the following third parties in accordance with the provisions of the APPI, the Telecommunications Business Act, and any other provisions of laws and regulations.

1 Provision of collections information and modified information regarding the communication service usage fees, etc.

- 3. Purpose of provision: the provision of services by the third party pursuant to contractual terms and conditions
- 4. Other remarks: NTT FINANCE may provide your personal information to the extent necessary for the purpose of use of the transferor of claims even after such transferor terminates a relevant agreement.
2 Provision of information for the "consolidated billing"

- 2. Content of personal information provided by NTT FINANCE: the personal information stated in Article 4, paragraph (2), item (ⅶ) (limited to the "membership information for consolidated billing" and the "billing address pertaining to consolidated billing")
- 3. Purpose of provision: responding to inquiries, etc.
In addition, NTT FINANCE may provide your personal information to subcontractors to the extent necessary to achieve the purpose of use stated in Article 4, paragraph (1).
In such case, NTT FINANCE will select subcontractors that sufficiently promote the protection of personal information and implement the necessary and appropriate measures therefor, such as executing personal information protection agreements.

Notwithstanding the provisions stated above, if NTT FINANCE finds that any of the following items apply, NTT FINANCE may, with the utmost consideration for your rights and interests, provide your personal information to third parties:
- when obtaining your consent;
- when such use is pursuant to laws and regulations;
- when there is a need to protect a human life, body, or property and it is difficult to obtain your consent;

NTT FINANCE provides our employees, etc. with sufficient education and training on information security, and requires them to sign a written pledge to comply with the appropriate handling of personal data, etc. when engaging in business activities.

NTT FINANCE implements physical security control measures related to information system installation and work locations as well as physical protection of equipment and software, etc., including access controls for buildings and floors where your personal data is handled, theft prevention measures, and measures against destruction of your personal data due to fire, lightning strikes, etc.
4 Technical security control measures

NTT FINANCE implements technical security control measures such as access management, including authentication, authority management and control, and recording when accessing your personal data, countermeasures against unauthorized software and viruses in our systems, countermeasures by means of encryption and clarification of responsibilities when your personal data is transferred, transmitted, and received, and information system monitoring.

  Fee: 1,000 JPY per application pertaining to one telephone number, etc. (including consumption taxes and shipping fees) If any additional fee is required, such as in the case where you request a particular disclosure or notification method, NTT FINANCE may charge you a fee that includes such additional fee.
  Billing method: the application fees will be included in the invoice sent by NTT FINANCE.

8.Revision of Privacy Policy

NTT FINANCE may revise our privacy policy in order to ensure the protection of your personal information and to respond to any change in laws, regulations, or any other rules. If we revise our privacy policy, we will notify you of such revision via a posting on our website.
