NTT FINANCE will use its best efforts to protect your personal information that NTT FINANCE receives for its billing and collections business for the communication service usage fees, etc., in accordance with the following policies and pursuant to the provisions of the Act on the Protection of Personal Information ("APPI").
1. Extent of personal information collection
NTT FINANCE collects your personal information only by legal and fair methods in order to improve your convenience and for NTT FINANCE's business administration purposes.

NTT FINANCE will use its best efforts to ensure that your personal information is accurate, complete and up-to-date.

NTT FINANCE will promptly amend or delete any incorrect personal information upon a request for information disclosure from the pertinent individual.

(3) When NTT FINANCE conducts a business that it has been engaged to perform by another business operator in connection with the billing and collections business for the communication service usage fees, etc., NTT FINANCE will handle your personal information within the scope necessary for the performance of such business.

(4) If NTT FINANCE finds that any of the following items apply, NTT FINANCE may, while paying the utmost consideration to your rights and interests, handle your personal information for purposes other than the aforementioned purposes of use:

NTT FINANCE may individually prescribe a purpose of use other than the aforementioned purposes of use via a service, questionnaire, or the like.
Further, NTT FINANCE may record your conversation with an NTT FINANCE agent or employee when responding to your telephone calls in order to accurately understand the content your order, opinion, request, or the like and to improve our services in the future. -

5. Provision to third parties

In addition, NTT FINANCE may provide your personal information to subcontractors to the extent necessary to achieve the purpose of use stated in Article 4, paragraph (1).
In such case, NTT FINANCE will select subcontractors that sufficiently promote the protection of personal information and implement the necessary and appropriate measures therefor, such as executing personal information protection agreements.Notwithstanding the provisions stated above, if NTT FINANCE finds that any of the following items apply, NTT FINANCE may, with the utmost consideration for your rights and interests, provide your personal information to third parties:

Procedure for disclosure, etc.
NTT FINANCE will respond to you in writing or by means of electromagnetic record, and will also send you our response by simple registered mail.
Even after receiving an application for disclosure, etc., there may be cases where NTT FINANCE will not disclose, etc. all or part of your personal data pursuant to the provisions of the APPI. In such cases, NTT FINANCE will inform you to the effect that NTT FINANCE will not make such disclosure and the reason therefor, in which case you will not be required to pay the fees prescribed below. In some cases, NTT FINANCE will not disclose all or part of your personal data that is subject to disclosure to an agent if such disclosure is likely to harm a human life, body, property, or any other rights and interests. -
(b)Procedure for correction, etc.
When receiving an application form for a correction, etc. to your personal data, NTT FINANCE will investigate the contents of application.
If, as a result of investigation, NTT FINANCE finds that the contents of your personal data are contrary to facts or that the handling of your personal data is inappropriate, NTT FINANCE will make your requested correction, etc.
Even after receiving an application for correction, etc., there may be cases where NTT FINANCE will not make the requested correction, etc. to your personal data in whole or in part pursuant to the provisions of the APPI.
In such cases, NTT FINANCE will inform you to the effect that NTT FINANCE will not make such correction and the reason therefor. -

Amount of fees pertaining to an application for disclosure, etc.
Fee: 1,000 JPY per application pertaining to one telephone number, etc. (including consumption taxes and shipping fees) If any additional fee is required, such as in the case where you request a particular disclosure or notification method, NTT FINANCE may charge you a fee that includes such additional fee.
Billing method: the application fees will be included in the invoice sent by NTT FINANCE.

8.Revision of Privacy Policy
NTT FINANCE may revise our privacy policy in order to ensure the protection of your personal information and to respond to any change in laws, regulations, or any other rules. If we revise our privacy policy, we will notify you of such revision via a posting on our website.
